Cycling

Not as arduous as the three days walking , but a relief to complete the final leg of our voyage to Budva. Legs are recovering from the brambles!

The paraglide was enormously satisfying and a tremendous finish to an amazing challenge.

Now another challenging  part of the TREK..................hitting the nightlife of Budva and Dubrovnik!

Looking forward to the luxury of tomorow!

Thank you all for supporting us financially and with your enthusiasm!

The Trek!

Day 1

Probably the toughest day....definitely the steepest part of the trek to Negusi Village. We were exhausted. Our orienteering skills were seriously put to the test. At one point we had completely lost our way, but fortunately inquisitive Bels looked through a hole in the vegetation and spotted the route.Slept in log cabins

Day 2

Tough but not as steep. Yes .....you guessed it ....more test on our orienteering skills which resulted in our climbing the highest peak in Montenegro.....................unnecessarily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Camped out.

Day 3

Final day of trek. Must be acclimatising now. One part of today resulted in a long hike through brambles. Legs are cut to pieces. Very hot. Cycling day tomorrow to Rijeka Cernajev..............to stay in Hostel Hippo!

Bay of Kotor

Brilliant sunshine and an exhausting day kayaking across the bay. One casualty the night before, but Nurse Bels came to her rescue and it did not stop the completion of the first day.................however it has stalled  the news feed! More tomorrow!!!

Fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to a last flurry of energy and huge generosity the Montenegro Challenge has hit 102%. So many thanks to those of you who have donated.......................more news from the Bay of Kotor later!

Gatwick South Terminal....let the Challenge begin!!

Finally on our way. Have hit Gatwick Airport South Terminal and probably having our last meal before the kayaking in The Bay of Kotor tomorrow. Not sure what Alfie has packed........he has a huge bag but it doesn't seem to contain any of the appropriate kit for the Challenge!!!!!!!!!!
